Silken Skin (La Peau Douce) + Introduction (PG)

Lecturer Pierre Lachenay is often away from his dutiful wife Franca and adoring daughter Sabine on the tour circuit. One engagement takes him to Lisbon and when he boards the plane, Pierre’s roving eye is instantly drawn to the stewardess, Nicole. Their flirtation sparks an affair, which includes an ill-fated liaison in Reims. A simple lie to Nicole alerts the wife to her other half’s lies and Pierre’s dual lives unravel at frightening speed.
