Royal Ballet Live Encore Screening: Within The Golden Hour/Medusa/Flight Pattern

Jonathan Lo and Andrew Griffiths conduct a recording of a live broadcast from the Royal Opera House in London of a triple-bill of contemporary works comprising two revivals and a world premiere by choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. The evening opens with Christopher Wheeldon’s ballet Within The Golden Hour set to a specially written score by Ezio Bosso and continues with Cherkaoui’s first work for The Royal Ballet. Medusa contains heavily stylised physical threat and discreet sex references.
