Aspiring filmmaker Mark Lewis lives alone in his father’s house, leasing out part of the building to make ends meet. He is fascinated by the lovely girl, Helen, who lives down stairs and is delighted when she strikes up a friendship of sorts with him. Little does Helen know that while Mark comes across as a shy and sweet recluse, he harbours dark desires, which he acts out by killing young women and capturing their final breaths with his camera.
