A new digital restoration of G.W. Pabst’s celebrated 1929 film, which was adapted from Frank Wedekind’s play Lulu. Lulu is adored by all men, not least rivals Schigolch and Schon. The latter introduces Lulu to his son Alwa, who hires her as a dancer in a show he is producing. Passions explode with devastating consequences when Alwa and his fiancee discover Lulu and Schon in flagrante in her dressing room.
