NT Live: Allelujah!

Recorded live on the stage of The Bridge Theatre in London earlier this year, Allelujah! is a timely comedy drama from the pen of Alan Bennett, which diagnoses trouble ahead for the NHS in the service’s 70th anniversary year. A documentary film crew arrives at The Bethlehem, an old-fashioned hospital on the edge of the Pennines, which has been threatened with closure. Residents of the Dusty Springfield Geriatric Ward would be greatly impacted by a closure and they fight for survival.
