Rumi wants to be the dutiful daughter for her family in the Punjab but she is irresistibly drawn to Vicky with his dyed blue hair and carefree attitude to life. Unfortunately, Vicky is reluctant to commit to Rumi so she issues him with an ultimatum: propose or she will marry the first man that her family chooses for her. Keeping to her promise, Rumi meets mild-mannered prospective husband Robbie, who is searching for a life partner.
