George Washington (12A)

George is forced to wear a crash helmet to protect his delicate skull. He lives with his Uncle Damascus and Aunt Ruth, and takes great comfort from his pet dog. George’s friendship with Buddy hits the skids when Buddy’s sweetheart Nasia leaves him to go out with George. It’s a momentous event in the youngsters’ lives, causing ripples which will be felt for the rest of the summer.
