Galaxy Quest (PG)

The actors involved in a long running science fiction soap opera spend their days being accosted by fans at conventions and signing autographs. At one such gathering, the group is kidnapped by real aliens who truly believe the actors are intergalactic heroes. Calling upon their months of expertise in front of cardboard backgrounds, operating dummy phaser guns, the crew must find a way to outwit a dastardly alien powerlord and get back home.
