Bolshoi Ballet Live Encore Screening: Swan Lake

A revival of Vincent Bataillon's staging of the haunting ballet choreographed by Yuri Grigorovich, which was broadcast live on the stage of the historic Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. Set to Tchaikovsky's lyrical score, the story centres on handsome Prince Siegfried, who escapes his birthday celebrations and stumbles upon a magical lake. He encounters beautiful Princess Odette, who must spend each day as a swan until true love breaks the curse. Siegfried vows to lift the enchantment.
