David Beckham, sire of three little princes and one princess, is crowned King Dad ahead of Father’s Day

David Beckham has been given the title King Dad by the British public in the run-up to Father’s Day on Sunday (16.06.13).

The retired footballer – father to sons Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 10, and Cruz, eight, as well as 22-month-old daughter Harper – topped the votes in a new poll by chocolate bar company Toblerone.

The 38-year-old scored 23 per cent of the votes, beating off competition from chat show host Jonathan Ross, who managed 17 per cent, while Peter Andre (14 per cent) was in third place.
