Kat Moon will be left reeling when her husband Alfie puts the boot in once again, as he concentrates on new love Roxie Mitchell.

The feisty soap favourite is set to get her heart broken following a disastrous few weeks for the couple after Kat’s affair with resident Walford villain Derek Branning was exposed.
Alfie (Shane Richie) has finally moved on with new flame Roxie Mitchell (Rita Simons), who manages to persuade him to cut Kat (Jessie Wallace) out of his life forever and ask for a divorce.
A source told The Sun: “Kat makes a fool of herself because she thought they still had a chance. Her sadness quickly turns to anger and rage.
“Alfie will always love Kat. Roxie is a bit of a rebound – but he’s desperately trying to move on and it is starting to look like there is no way back.”
The dramatic storyline will echo the BBC One soap’s most iconic divorce scene from 1986, when Dirty Den told Angie they were finished.
In the aftermath of the shock announcement, Kat will seek solace in Alfie’s cousin Michael, who is the biological father of the couple’s son Tommy.
This comes after tensions between Kat and Roxie reached boiling point at the Queen Vic. An argument escalated into a big bust-up after Alfie gave his estranged wife a job as a cleaner in the pub, and jealous Roxie was left wondering where her new man’s heart truly lies.
