Basement Jaxx and Ms. Dynamite will headline London’s Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project.

The dance group and the female garage singer will help London to swap its usual night time scene with Jamaica on 12 November.
Ms. Dynamite said: “With Jamaican roots, I’m proud to be part of such a unique night and can’t wait to perform on stage alongside some real Jamaican legends and other great talent.
“For those people lucky enough to be there this is really going to be a night to remember.”
The bill also features a host of Jamaican artists and DJs, such as The Jolly Boys, who will perform Bob Marley’s classic track One Love among other hits.
Alexandra Palace is to host up to 3,000 people at the event, which will see the venue redecorated in a Jamaican style with palm trees, a steel drum band and especially devised Jamaican Sunrise Smirnoff vodka cocktails.
Alongside the music and dancing will be a Jamaican market stall serving typical street food from the Caribbean country.
On the same night a quintessentially British event is taking place in Kingston, Jamaica, and, around the world over 10 million people will discover, share and swap unique nightlife experiences between cities, as part of the Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project.
