The Nasty singer visits London as part of her worldwide Janet Jackson Number Ones: Up Close & Personal Tour on 30 June and 2 July.

The UK and European bit of the tour comes first. It’s the first time for three years Jackson has hit the road.

As the tour’s title suggests, Jackson plans to adopt an intimate live style, though possibly not including glimpses of her nipple.

“Everyone has been so kind to me,” said Jackson, 44, of times-past she has spent in Europe.

“I can’t wait to get on stage and show my love for all my fans that have supported me all of these years.”

Tickets for the Janet Jackson Albert Hall gigs go on sale tomorrow, 4 March, at 8am.
