AMY WINEHOUSE failed to complete recording tracks for her third album. The ‘Rehab’ singer, who died in her Camden home on Saturday, 23 July 2011, had been working on a series of new songs since as far back as 2008 with producer Salaam Remi.

Remi, who produced tracks on Amy’s first two studio albums; Frank and Back To Black, has now revealed that nothing was specifically finished for the long-awaited new album. He told New York radio station Power 105.1 FM: “We were working on it; it’s not a complete album. We had a lot of things going, there are recordings, but first things first, I think. We’re trying to focus on what’s at hand and what her family wants to do. So those reports of a release are false.”

Tantalisingly, he did reveal that the troubled singer was at her ‘creative and emotive best’ when it came to writing new material up until she died.

So much was the stir caused by her scuplted derriere that she recently attracted the attentions of an American porn producer. Steven Hirsch from pornographic company Vivid Entertainment wrote to the Duchess’s sister offering her $5million for her to appear in just a single saucy scene in one of their movies. He kindly added “of course, you would have your choice of partners”.
He added: “To put it all in a nutshell, Amy loved to sing, to write- that ability never left her. She was very good at channelling her emotions into lyrics, and then being able to sing them. She was in a place to go forward and make it happen.”

“The way that Amy and I always created was she would write and we would toss ideas around.

“Amy had strong opinions on everything. She was very opinionated about what she liked. At the end, she was a real person. She had a huge heart.”

Amy was cremated on Tuesday (26.07.11) in North London.

One of her other producers, Mark Ronson, last night played tribute to the ‘Valerie’ singer by playing some of her hits at a concert in Greenwich, south-east London.
