AMY WINEHOUSE divested herself of all her cats before jetting to Jamaica this week.

The Rehab singer was the loving owner of nine cats but “she had to give them up,” a source told The Sun, because, “they were climbing all over the place, breeding and generally getting out of control.”
In other words they were being cats.
Winehouse has had this problem of not seeing cats as cats before. During the long drawn-out break-up with Blake Fielder-Civil, she created a Facebook page on behalf of Shirley (the cat) and spoke through the moggie to her ex, while calling herself “Mummy”.
The whole cat business has reportedly left Winehouse “pretty upset”, but the cheering news is that Fielder-Civil won’t be joining her in Jamaica, despite rumours to the contrary.
“The whole point of the trip is to record out there, she has a whole album of songs written,” said her spokesperson.
Meanwhile, the nine cats are reckoned to have holed up in a cattery in Surrey.
