Special guests are promised for the 11 February concert, though their identities have yet to be revealed. Two names in the frame could be reggae star Horace Andy, who appeared with Massive Attack in recent shows, like the one at Brixton Academy this week, and Blur’s Damon Albarn, who also turned up on stage at the same venue.

Massive Attack have a new album coming out next year, probably in March, and a new EP, Splitting the Atom, released on 5 October. Some of the proceeds from the single are going to the HOPING foundation, a charity which helps children in Palestinian refugee camps.

Tickets for the 11 February show go on sale tomorrow, 25 September.
