It is the start of Freshman year and Sydney White, eager to follow in her mother’s footsteps, is excited to become a member of the Kappa Phi Nu sorority. However, tomboy Sydney, having been raised by her construction worker father is more comfortable wielding a power drill than spending a day power shopping.
Standing out from the self-obsessed, clone-like blondes of the fraternity lead by super bitch Rachel Witchburn, Sydney becomes an outcast and to make matters worse Rachel’s ex beau, Tyler Prince, is smitten with Sydney causing further outrage amongst the Kappa’s.
All alone, Sydney stumbles upon the ‘Vortex’ where she makes seven new dorky friends – each with their own familiar fairytale dwarf-like traits. Disappointed that the sister-hood is not what it used to be, Sydney empowers her ‘dorks’ in a bid to take the school back from the fraternities and sororities spreading the word that it is ok to be yourself.
This endearing and delightful tale is great fun for everyone. Lovable Sydney, with a fantastic get up and go attitude to life, a hilarious set of friends and a hot Prince Charming, makes Sydney White the movie of every girls dreams!!
