Michael McDonald Competition
Michael McDonald - former Doobie Brother and superstar singer/songwriter - will be releasing a new album of classic soul-tinged cover songs - titled Soul Speak, released 7th April on Universal Music. The album will include three new songs by the 5x Grammy winner and touring member of Steely Dan.
Produced by frequent Eric Clapton collaborator Simon Clime, this 13 track new collection burnishes McDonald's flawless vocal delivery over an array of soul-inspired songs - featuring some of his favourites.
The lead-off track is Jackie Wilsons' Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher - which is already a huge hit at radio in the US.
