Join Shrek (Dean Chisnall), our unlikely hero, and his loyal steed Donkey (Richard Blackwood) as they set off on a quest to rescue the beautiful (if slightly temperamental) Princess Fiona (Carley Stenson) from her tower, guarded by a fire breathing love-sick dragon. Add the diminutive Lord Farquaad (Neil McDermott), a gang of fairytale misfits, and a biscuit with attitude, and you’ve got this year’s must see new musical comedy – SHREK THE MUSICAL! Featuring new songs as well as cult Shrek anthem – 'I'm a Believer', SHREK THE MUSICAL brings the well loved characters to life, in a hilarious and spectacular new production based on the Oscar®-winning DreamWorks Animation film. The world of fairytales is turned upside down in an all singing, all dancing, irresistible mix of adventure, laughter and romance. Age Recommendation: Shrek The Musical is recommended for a general audience. As an advisory to adults who might bring young people, the show is suitable for ages 5 and up. It is the policy of the Theatre Royal Drury Lane that any child under the age of 4 will not be admitted into the theatre. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket.

Venue: Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Catherine Street, London, WC2B 5JF.

Restaurant: Christopher's American Grill
18 Wellington Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2E 7DD

Christopher's, The American Bar & Grill is conveniently located in the heart of London's theatreland in Covent Garden. Climb the sweeping stone spiral staircase to Christopher’s elegant dining room. Strong colours and soft lighting complement the high ceilings and beautiful original features of this Grade II listed Victorian building. With fantastic views over Waterloo Bridge and a buzzy, relaxed atmosphere, Christopher’s creates the perfect counterpoint setting to enjoy the delicious modern American cuisine. Inspired by the Chicago Palm Restaurant in America, Christopher Gilmour opened Christopher's, The American Bar & Grill in December 1991 to serve good quality steaks and lobster, hitherto unable to be found in London. It quickly became one of the capital's most opulent restaurants, resplendent over three floors, and though the concept has been adapted to take account of changing tastes and fashions, it is still faithful to its original theme.
