NAKED flesh blossomed at the Chelsea Flower Show this morning as a bunch of nude models drew gasps from the thousands of visitors on the event’s first public day.

Painted in bold colours, the hired models – male and female – were part of a stunt to attract publicity for BrandAlley, spkinsors of the The Naturally Fashionable Garden (pictured).

Disappointingly for some, the models left some parts of their bodies to the imagination by wearing tiny black underpants and nipple daisies.

“We wanted to do something that would really catch people’s attention, and this certainly worked,” said Kristina Laslett, of BrandAlley, an online retailer.

“It’s not often you see lots of painted people running around naked at Chelsea wearing nipple daisies. I think quite a few of the officials were shocked rigid.”

At least 150,000 people are expected to turn up at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show to see the many and varied garden designs of the 600 exhibitors. Unfortunately, all tickets have already been sold.
