CAPTAIN KIRK, aka William Shatner, beams down to Earls Court this weekend as part of the London Film and Comic Con, a celebration of popular Sci-Fi, and the Star Trek captain will be joined by characters from Doctor Who, Twilight and Terminator.

There’s a great excuse for a big Star Wars party as this year marks the 30th anniversary of the release of The Empire Strikes Back. Be careful, though, as one of the participants is scary old Darth Vader, aka Dave Prowse, himself.
As if that wasn’t enough, legendary World Heavyweight Boxing Champion Mike Tyson is due to take a bow on Sunday.
Star-spotting isn’t the only game in town as there will also be demonstrations of comic artists at work, plenty of props to gawp at and a chance to dress up in real costumes from the films and shows.
London Film and Comic Con is open from 11am-6pm on Saturday and 11am-5pm on Sunday. Adult tickets are £5 on the door.
