Eaton Square Concerts
Beginning: 15 March 2007
St. Peter's Church, Belgravia
Looking for a concert that will take your breath away? Then you won't want to miss the Eaton Square Concerts, which begin 15 March at St. Peter's Church in Belgravia.
Up first on the performance list are the Gould Piano Trio, highly regarded as chamber music experts both in the UK and abroad. The concert series will also feature internationally-known pianist Leon McCawley and new ensembles the Cappa Quartet and Tonus Peregrinus. Countertenor Robin Blaze and lutenist William Carter will close the Eaton Square series on 26 April.
"From frequent professional choral performances, to orchestral concerts, to recitals on the excellent newly-refurbished organ, the church benefits from a wonderful acoustic that is particularly suited to chamber music," said Costa Peristianis, artistic director of Eaton Square Concerts.
"And of course the beautiful building itself will make these concerts feel even more special."
The second concert season, scheduled for autumn 2007, will include performances by Leslie Howard, Carolyn Sampson and Trevor Pinnock. For more information, go to: www.eatonsquareconcerts.org.uk
