From the London underground map of 1931 to the mini skirt of 1962 to the modern Grand Theft Auto video game, the design museum displays graphics, photographs, artifacts and information about design in Britain over the ages. Said to be one of London's most inspiring venues, it is the world's leading museum of industrial design, fashion and architecture. Open daily 10:00 - 17:45. Admission is 7 UKP for adults, 4 UKP for concessions and free for children under 12.
