Not Guilty of anything, other than being there that day. If only they would listen to this word.

POP not DROP

I say it all of the time, I am English too, and you cannot make an American jury understand their own language. I think that it is to get back at the English, no other reason. I have had my fill of slurs about being English, from that part of the country. Well, if they only knew I was actually born in Ireland, raised in England, English mother, Irish father, ENGLISH accent, and automatically I am assumed to be the enemy. I would say if you look at the jury and their heritage, you would find that there is some truth to what I suggest. Look at the policeman who interviewed her, he couldn't keep his notes straight or his testimony truthful. Louise said she popped the baby down, not DROPPED. A big difference and a huge injustice. FREE HER IMMEDIATELY TODAY!.

Subject: How do we know the Eappens didn't do it, and blame it on Louise?

Some of the scientists at the trial said that the baby's injuries could have been inflicted three weeks before his death. Have the police investigated who had access to Matthew in that period? And have they investigated the character of the Eappens, whose testimony seems to be complete unquestioned in America? Parents who abuse their children can be incredibly sly and deceitful, as recent secret videoing of child-batterers in UK hospitals has shown. If the Eappens had battered their baby, and he later died, they would certainly have powerful reasons for wanting to shift the blame to someone else...
It's just a thought...

LondonNet Comment: Many of you seem to agree with this line of argument...

Subject: innocent

I am training to be a nanny at the moment and I have watched the case throughout.I would like to say I think Louise is completly innocent, although personally i dont know her, my heart goes out to her , family and friends. I truely believe she is not capable of such a crime .............Why hasn`t anybody questioned the parents of Matthew Eppan?
I wish her and her family good luck. Yours sincerely Vicky Keay

Subject: Woodward not guilty its official

Louise Woodward trial is merely a result of the warped US legal process that claims to represent freedom. America is quickly loosing touch and the world watches its mistakes once again.

On the evidence I say "not guilty" but answer me this if you can. Why did the Matthews's parents think that it was reasonable to expect an untrained 19 year old to be given extensive, unsupervised responsibility for two small children? They are both doctors and should be aware of the importance of proper qualifications for those who care for small children.

More Not Guilty opinions

And there's more....

Guilty

Guilty as charged? These people reckon so...
