May she rest in peace knowing that she will live on in the hearts of the many people around the world who admired and loved her. Her warmness descended throughout the world, even beyond the disadvantaged persons that she reached. Hicks Family, Huntsville, AL Date: Mon, 01 Sep 1997 11:23:31 -0400 From: "Deborah J. Stearns" <AWings@wycol.com> Subject: Heart-Wrenching Tragedy From the rural American village of Warsaw, New York, I offer my condolences to the family of Princess Diana. Although I never had the privilege of meeting the Princess, I have admired her from afar. This terrible tragedy has left me heavyhearted. Debbie Stearns Date: Fri, 01 Jan 1904 00:47:31 +0000 From: cindysue <cdarvin@mindspring.com> Subject: Too little time I mourn not just the tragic loss of a woman so important to the world, but also the robbery of the many years to come and the prospects they held. Diana was, to all of us, a princess exemplifying all that is good in humankind. Her productivity during her short life and her potential for that which will not be shall remain unmatched in history. She shall remain in my heart always. CSD - New York City Date: Mon, 01 Sep 1997 11:26:00 -0400 From: Marshall <Marshall@pharmview.com> Subject: reply to reaction of dianas death IT WAS A HORRIBLE SHOCK. I FEEL I GREW UP WITH HER AS SHE WAS A PART OF OUR EVERDAY EVERY WOMENS WOMEN... SHE WAS TRULY ELEGANT AND HAD MORE CLASS THAN ANY WOMEN IN THE WORLD... HER SMILE WAS SINCERE AND HER HEART WAS HEAVY MOST OF HER BEST YEARS. BUT SHE LEFT THE WORLD WITH 2 WONDERFUL SONS THAT WILL LIVE ON FOR HER.... HOPEFULLY THEY HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF HER INFLUENCE IN SUCH A SHORT TIME THAT THEY WILL CARRY ON HER GOOD WORK AND WARM HEART.. SHE WAS TRULY A WONDERFUL WOMEN INSIDE AND OUT... BEING SO YOUNG SHE ONLY GREW UP LIKE ALL OF US DO BY LIFES LESSONS UNFORTUNATELY SHE HAD TO DO IT IN THE PUBLIC EYE. IT NEVER HURT HER THOUGH IT ONLY MADE HER MORE HUMAN TO US ALL. I WILL TRULY MISS HER. I ENJOYED HEARING ABOUT HER SHE WAS VERY COURAGEOUS LADY. LOTS OF FUN TO... NEVER KNEW WHAT SHE WOULD DO NEXT WHICH MADE HER NOT LIKE THE OTHERS NOT BORING. FUN AND HUMAN Date: Mon, 01 Sep 1997 11:23:01 -0400 From: William Cox <wcccjc@MNSi.Net> Subject: From a little town in Canada. I was shocked to hear about the death of Princess Di. She was a great lady with alot of strengths who taught the world that you can get through anything if you chose to. She gave so much to the world though charities that perhaps if we all made a donation to Aids, or red cross, or fostered a child in memory of Princess Di we will keep her love and compassion alive. On tv one night earlier this year they were remarking that the lastest pictures of Diana were overshadowing her works on the land mines and I remember saying "Why don't they leave that poor lady alone, no one really cares who she is sleeping with, she is divorced and deserves to have a live without being chased by photogahers. Maybe in her death, she will accomplish one more thing, stricter laws on what is considered invasion of privacy. Hopefully to it will send a message to people who read "rag" magazines just how the pictures that are in those pictures are gotten. Most importantly, though, are the two young children that are left behind. I pray that they have the strength of their mother, and the compassion and love for all people no matter what their lot in life. And finally to the people of Britian who mourn the loss of Their Princess. Mostly here, the comments are that she was everyones favourite Royal. On one program they said that she "took the chill out of the Royal Family and made them human." God bless Date: Mon, 1 Sep 1997 16:52:28 +0100 (BST) From: ohllornj@tcd.ie (Michelle Bennett) Subject: condolences I would like to express condolences on the death of Diana on behalf of my family.
