Your Floral Tributes Delivered to Kensington PalaceDate: Tue, 02 Sep 1997 13:34:56 +0800 From: Edward Ng <ock@netvigator.com> Reply-To: ock@netvigator.com Subject: How could she leave us? Although she did not live here in Hong Kong, but everyone in Hong Kong love her and will miss her forever. We were so impressed by her kindness and beauty in her two visits here. She showed her love and her care to everyone she saw. It's such a pity that we cannot see her anyone because she scheduled to visit this city again on the 24th of this month for the third time and it would be the first time for her to come here since the handover. It's such a great loss to everyone. God bless her two sons. Edward Ng (Hong Kong) Date: Tue, 2 Sep 1997 01:16:02 -0400 (EDT) Message-ID: <970902011601_974282919@emout19.mail.aol.com> Subject: For Diana For Diana-a woman of grace, inner beauty and dignity. This poem is from the film "Four Weddings and a Funeral". It is by W.H. Auden-words have been changed from "he" to "she" as I believe it is fitting for the Princess and really refelcts the magnitude of the loss of her. Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone, Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone, Silence the pianos and with muffled drum Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come. Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message She Is Dead Put crepe bows round the white necks of public doves, Let the traffic policemen wear balck cotton gloves. She was my North, My South, my East, my West, My working week and my Sunday rest, My noon, my midhight, my talk, my song; I thought love would last forever: I was wrong. The stars are not wanted now; put out every one, Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun, Pour away the ocean and sweep up the woods; For nothing now can ever come to any good.
I will miss her quiet smile, and I pray for her two young boys. Love, Sheila Kosiewicz Illinois, United States Date: Tue, 02 Sep 1997 01:35:15 -0700 From: Linda Turney-Phillips <ltp@ptbo.igs.net> Subject: sorrow, grief aqnd shoc To our Princes William and Harry I am amazed at how deeply I felt your mother's death. It was not what I expected. So in watching her, through the years, she obviously gained my respect. I was married the year after her and my opldest son is 14. I have another son a year young than Prince Harry. I have a third son. my boys and I are very close and they can not even begin to understand the pain that you are going through. My Princes - be strong but be like your mother. If you need to show your emotions - do so. Seek counsell where you are emotionally safe - and grieve. Without the grieving processes, my Princes, you will never heal. The world does not expect you to keep a stiff upper lip. It may sound trite but time will ease the agony that you now feel. Always remeber that there have be only a few people who enter the world and can make such an impact and be loved by so many people, in so many countries and from so many walks of life. We will pray for you. Remeber your mother will always be "Our Queen of Hearts. May God keep you safe. Linda, Art, Joseph, Mark and Daniel Phillips - Ontario, Canada Date: Mon, 01 Sep 1997 22:23:11 -0700 From: catpat <catpat@i-link-2.net> Subject: Princess Diana - The Queen of Hearts Diana breathed life into the Royals. She deserves no less than a Royals Tribute in her death. She must be honored for all her work, her sincere love for all, and for doing the best she could. Her touch was constant and she gave of herself more than any "Royal" ever has. For her sons, William & Harry I hope and pray they will grow up remembering all her great qualities. I know that you both must live as "Royals",but never forget to reach out and touch as your mother did. May your lives have more peace than your mothers did. You are in our prayers tonight and also, Diana's family. And to any one who reads this prayer, Please do not buy those publications that stalk or pay for photo's that are not approved by the person taking that photo. Peace to you all, Cat & Pat Underhill Chehalis, WA USA Date: Tue, 02 Sep 1997 15:08:40 -0700 From: rakhmayanti makainas <z2180762@pop3.student.unsw.edu.au> Subject: A sorry from Indonesia As a faritale "...and she live happily never after" Date: Fri, 02 Jan 1998 00:33:01 -0600 Subject: Diana To: Her Majesty! My deepest remorse to the Royal Family. I am always at your call. Ruffcutt@Geocities.com, Sir Mark James Hayes Date: Tue, 02 Sep 1997 01:11:16 +0400 From: lori reeves <lreeves@CLEMSON.EDU> Subject: Such a tragic loss! I just happen to have been watching CNN in the late night hours here in South Carolina when the tragic news about Princess Diana's death broke. I was immediately filled with shock, a sense of disbelief and grief. I still cannot believe that she is gone. I know that there will never be another person like her in my lifetime. I have never even come close to meeting her but that did not matter because she just exuded a sense of genuiness no matter where she went. My heart goes out to Princes William and Harry on the loss of their truly great mother. My heart also goes out to the British people in general for the loss of their beloved Princess. Those of us in America feel the depth of her loss as well. She was a very bright light in this world, and now the world only seems much more dark by her passing. She will NEVER be forgotten!
