Star Wars Lands on the South Bank
- County Hall the venue for Jedi exhibition

Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. Copyright Lucasfilm Ltd. All Right Reserved. TAKE your places next to some of the iconic characters from the Star Wars movies at a new exhibition held in County Hall on the South Bank, from Saturday, 5 May.

Visitors will have the chance to appear on screen alongside Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader or Princess Leia by way of some of the trick cinematography that helped make the series of six films so famous.

Also on show will be a host of curious from the films including a lifesize Naboo-1 Starfighter, a Landspeeder hovercraft and Queen Amidala's dress and Jedi training is on offer.

The Star Wars travelling exhibition features many other items from director George Lucass archives in California. On its first outing in Portugal, it attracted 150,000 would-be Jedis.

Sounds good, but there's one major criticism the organisers missed a trick with Saturday's opening date. If it had opened just one day earlier, they could have run with May the 4th Be with You.

More info, ticket prices and all that stuff here.
