|Beatles Day Tripper for Memorabilia Fans|
- 17th year of event designed for collectors and fans of the Fab Four
FAB FOUR memorabilia collectors from around the world are set to converge on the West End this weekend for the latest round of London Beatles Day, an event first held back in 1990.
Part sales convention, part a chance to meet fellow fans, the show, held at Bonnington Hotel this Sunday, 11 March, also regularly attracts famous guests, such as the time 'fifth Beatle' Pete Best turned up.
"Online purchasing and auctions are very convenient," say the organisers,
"but there is no better way than to come and see the item you are thinking of buying."
London has a proud Beatles history of its own, from Abbey Road to the Apple shop. There's lots more about this city's connections to the world's most famous band in our London Beatles feature.
London Beatles Day is on 11 March from 10am-4pm at Bonnington Hoel, Southampton Row. Nearest Tube stations are Holborn and Russel Square. Tickets are priced at UKP3.
