Build Up Starts for 'Cheeky' Joseph
- Long-awaited lead debut for Any Dream Will Do winner

Build Up Starts for JOSEPH-fever is set to break out tomorrow when a new production of the famous musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat starts at the Adelphi starring TV talent show winner Lee Mead.

Mead captured the hearts of viewers to come top in a phone-in poll for Any Dream Will Do and in previews in the last few weeks has captured the imaginations of critics.

What Mead calls his "cheeky and deep Joseph" is characterised by a tremendously winning smile and what is evidently a real passion for the part.

Mead isn't the only cast member who looks to have hit gold with Joseph. Dean Collinson as Pharaoh, Neal Wright's Judah and Preeya Kalidas, previously seen in Bombay Dreams, all hit the right notes with charm and verve.

Most tickets are booked out for the show for months ahead, but it has recently been extended to June 2008. There are some tickets around in the coming months, mainly matinees. For more info click here.

Another option is to go all out for a real treat and make a night of it by booking a hotel and theatre special.
