Kylie Minogue to Visit Her Own Exhibition
- Pint-sized singer puts failed romance and critics' snipes behind her for special view

Kylie Minogue to Visit Her Own ExhibitionKYLIE MINOGUE is guest of honour at the Victoria and Albert museum tonight, for the private view/launch of a new exhibition in her honour.

From her role as feisty girl next door Charlene in Neighbours, to her metamorphosis into a pop siren and gay icon, Kylie has captured the heart of her adopted city more than any other Australian woman, with the possible exception of Dame Edna Everage.

Kylie – The Exhibition covers all her big image milestones, including the mechanics' overalls worn in Neighbours and the gold lame hot pants from the video to Spinning Around.

There will also be displays charting the development of Kylie's tours, including behind-the-scenes information.
However, some have questioned the importance of the Kylie exhibition, especially as it is held at one of London’s major museums.

"If they are going to put Kylie's dresses in the chamber of horrors, that is one thing, but if it is to be a mute celebration of the life of a celebrity, then it is not such a worthy thing," said Observer critic Stephen Bayley.

The exhibition is free to enter, even for Oliver Martinez, Kylie's recent ex.
