Spend Easter in Town to Avoid Transport Woes
- Usual holiday snarl-ups make fun in the city all the more attractive

Spend Easter in Town to Avoid Transport WoesTRANSPORT bulletins at this time of year often tell us to avoid the roads, that the trains are full and that airports are jam-packed with passengers suffering horrendous delays.

The RAC, for instance, says car journey times are likely to be 60 per cent longer than usual, on the busiest days of the Easter weekend, while BAA predict 1.5 million people will be using its airports.

One solution to these problems is to stay in town and enjoy some of the many Easter treats on offer.

There are Easter egg hunts at a variety of interesting venues, including Battersea Park, the Cabinet War Rooms and Kew Gardens and Canary Wharf is hosting a whole day of family Easter-style fun.
