- Former butler re-opens feud with royals on eve of publication of his new book
PRINCESS DIANA'S former butler, Paul Burrell, has accused Princes William and Harry of neglecting the memory of their mother.

Burrell is no stranger to making enemies of the young princes. When his last book on Diana was published, the pair issued a statement calling the ex-butler's writings, "overt betrayal."
One reason why Burrell might not feel duty bound to abide by Royal wishes is that he almost went to prison on charges of stealing from Diana's house. The Queen left it to well into the case to "remember" that Burrell had told her he removed items for safe-keeping.
In the new book, The Way We Were, Burrell denies rumous that Diana planned to marry her then boyfriend Dodi al Fayed, the man who died with in her a Paris car crash.
