- Singer takes second caution in a year for cannabis possession
FOR the third time this year, George Michael has been involved in a strange drug-related driving incident, this time being found incapable at the wheel of his Mercedes at a busy junction in north London.
"At approximately 03.22am yesterday [Sunday] officers were informed of a stationary vehicle with a driver inside at traffic lights on Cricklewood Lane near its junction with Hendon Way, causing an obstruction," reported the police.
The singer – currently part-way through a European tour – was taken to a nearby police station and cautioned for possession of cannabis.
In February, in a similar incident, Michael was cautioned for cannabis possession after being discovered fast asleep in his Mercedes in a busy road alongside Hyde Park, while in April he was alleged to have bumped his Range Rover into other cars, a also in north London.
