Cuban Carnival Take Over on the South Bank
- Music, dance and food to create a little slice of Havana

Cuban Carnival Take Over on the South BankTWO of Cuba’s top bands plus the current heat wave are set to make the second Carnival de Cuba even more of a celebration than the first.

Sur Caribe and Arnaldo y su Talisman are the headliners for the carnival, billed as a London version of an authentic Cuban street party, which takes place at Bernie Spain Gardens on the South Bank this weekend, part of the on-going Coin Street Festival.

As well as the music, there are salsa dance performances and lessons, a Reggaeton showcase, children’s activities and bars and cantinas serving a yummy selection of Cuban cocktails (think Rum) and food.

The event is free to all World Cup escapees and takes place on both Saturday and Sunday, 10am-7.30pm for the former and 10am-6.30 for the latter.
