| Supersonic Sex for Concorde Couple
- Mile High Club show for BA boss CONCORDE might end up being saved by Richard Branson but, in the mean time, passengers are making the most of the supersonic aeroplane's last months in service with British Airways. In the presence of Rod Eddington, BA's boss, a Spanish couple have joined the Mile High Club. "We certainly want the last few months of Concorde to be a celebration - but this pair celebrated a bit more than we expected," a BA spokesperson said. "We only hope that the earth moved for them at twice the speed of sound." Eddington, seated three rows back from the amorous duo, reportedly told cabin crew to let the couple enjoy themselves but is less enamoured of Virgin Airways boss Branson who has recently upped the pressure on BA to sell its Concorde fleet. BA have said it has no intention of selling its Concordes when the planes are withdrawn from service in the autumn but Branson is busy trying to change minds. This week he has sounded out Airbus as likely partners in helping to maintain Concorde if Virgin do manage to get their hands on the aircraft. |
