Tatu Want Schoolgirls for Video
- Invite goes out for Westminster Bridge shoot

RUSSIAN pop duo Tatu have put out a call for London girls to turn up in school uniform and star in a pop video.

"We want to invite all the girls 16 years and over and who are not at school to wear their school uniform," said Lena Katina, one half of the chart-topping twosome famed for the lesbian frisson of their act.

Interested young women were urged to turn up this morning at Westminster Bridge where the video shoot is due to take place.

Tatu's renewed assault on the British pop market comes in the wake of last week's cancellation of a series of concerts in the UK.

"I am a little sad about it but I understand it because of all the negative publicity," said Tatu's manager, Ivan Shapovalov. "I think England wants Tatu, but I think some parts of the audience are afraid. They are afraid because Tatu touch the base of the English way of life."

Apart from the deep philosophical and cultural reasons mentioned by Shapovalov, poor ticket sales, illness and a dispute over performing fees were thought to be behind the cancellation.
