Cannabis Users in Joint Demo
- London among hundreds of cities around the world chosen for march

CANNABIS fans will be out on the streets of south London on Saturday, marching in favour of complete legalisation of their favourite drug.

As well as London, 250 other towns and cities around the world will be staging pro-cannabis demonstrations.

Organisers of the London march expect around 25,000 people to turn up for the parade that starts at Kennington Park and runs to Brockwell Park, where there will be a festival atmosphere with stalls, a creche and music.

Given that many on the march will be spliffing up, which is still illegal despite a recent relaxation in police attitudes, organisers say the demonstration "is the biggest single act of civil disobedience in this country."
