Rocky Horror Rocks On
- Kitsch musical back in town

THE ROCKY horror show celebrates its thirtieth birthday from June 23. Richard O'Brien's gory musical plays at the Shaftesbury theatre for five nights only.

The 70s-style extravaganza of cross dressing and rock and roll music features classic songs like Damn It Janet and Time Warp. The plot offers a humourous take on alien domination, combining camp cross-dressing with sci-fi songs. Transylvanian transvestites and raunchy music enliven a couple's journey to sexual awakening.

The musical interrupts Calamity Jane in its current West End run, giving lead actress Toyah Willcox a welcome break. The action packed show in which the punk rocker stars boasts as silly a plot and as many memorable tunes as the Rocky Horror Show.
