Clapham Common to Screen Movies for Free
- Police worried about return Tube journeys

CLAPHAM COMMON is the place to be this weekend for moviegoers who fancy seeing some hugely popular films for free.

On Friday night, Wayne's World will be screened on a big screen on the common, followed by Oceans Eleven on Saturday night and Die Another Day on Sunday.

Organisers expect at least 10,000 people to turn up for the movies, especially since the weather forecast for the weekend is for sun all the way.

One potential snag could be getting home. The three films should all finish between 11.00 and 11.30 - they start at 9.00 - but police are worried some people will miss the last Tube home. This is unlikely to be too much of a problem on Friday and Saturday as Tubes run until just past midnight, but on Sunday they stop an hour earlier.

For crowd control reasons, police are advising moviegoers to reach the events via Clapham South station but go home via all three of the area's stations, Clapham South, Clapham Common and Clapham North. The normal night bus service will also be available.
