Diana Was Good in Bed, Says Hewitt
- Lover of Princess tells sex secrets in TV show

JAMES HEWITT, the soldier who had an affair with Princess Diana, has told how great the sex was between the couple.

During a Channel 4 documentary to be screened on 24 July, one of his friends relates how impressed Hewitt was with Diana's in-bed performance. "It's true," Hewitt replies.

The programme, called Confessions of a Cad, will also broadcast intimate excerpts from letters Diana sent to Hewitt during the time of the first Gulf War in 1991. "Boy, oh boy, does the earth shake when I get a letter from my desert friend. Screams of delight, tears, you name it. Demented female on the loose, that's for sure," reads one section.

Hewitt has something of a reputation as a well-hung Casanova, an image he appears happy to cultivate. In the Channel Four show, Hewitt says he has bedded more women than the English cricket team scores runs over a normal summer. A convoluted analogy, perhaps, but it suggests a score in excess of 5,000. Giving Hewitt 30 years at the wicket, we estimate he bags a new gal every two days.
