Wet Wet Wet Star Makes A Splash
- Marti Pellow takes to the stage

HIT MUSICAL Chicago will soon star former Wet Wet Wet lead singer Marti Pellow. Pellow takes over from Neil McCaul from June 10 to September 21.

Pellow narrowly misses joining Denise Van Outen - now on Broadway with the same show - but looks set to star alongside Anna-Jane Casey and Clive Rowe. The hit revamp of Puccini's La Boeme recasts Parisienne bohemians as New York AIDS sufferers, and the soft spoken singer is studying the part of a super-slick lawyer.

Despite releasing the solo album Smile, the voice behind the hit singles Goodnight Girl and Love is All Around has remained in low profile since leaving Wet Wet Wet. The Olivier award winning musical should relaunch Pellow's
