Film History For Sale
- Movie props go under the hammer at Sotheby's

PROPS from some of the most famous films in recent movie history go under the hammer at Sotherby's today.

Included in the sale of 1,500 items from antique dealer Ken Paul's estate is a globe from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, a coffin from the Rocky Horror Picture Show and bits and pieces from The Mummy.

The sale is expected to bring in some UKP1 million and Paul's daughter Christine is keen that genuine collectors end up owning these unique pieces of cinema history. "Our hope is that all of these wonderful props will find good homes, and that the sale itself will be a fitting tribute to my father."
