Catch Some Kid's Theatre
- New stage stuff up for grabs

THE LYRIC HAMMERSMITH launches a two month festival of arts and entertainments for children. The Catch season runs from today, Friday February 15, until April 13 and features companies from around the world, many of whom successfully debuted in last year's event.

Beauty and the Beast and the Selfish Giant are amongst the best known stories to be staged. But like Very Yellow by theatredance and the Lost and Moated Land by theatre-rites, these productions offer a new take on the classics. Other innovative companies on show include Teatro Kismet Opera and Scottish Wee Stories.

These performances are suitable for those of six months and up, and most cost only UKP7. As far as story lovers are concerned, half term looks like fun for both kids and adults.
