Robbins and Sarandon the Twin Towers Valentines
- September 11 movie to focus on brave couple's love story

SAINT VALENTINE'S Day wouldn't be complete without a love-story lead, but few would have expected it to come via the tragic events of September 11.

But Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon plan just that with a film about Rick Rescorla, one of the heroes of the fall of the World Trade Centre, and his wife Susan Greer.

Rescorla died while helping to evacuate scores of people from the twin towers in his capacity as security chief at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. He was also at the centre of evacuation duties when the World Trade Centre was attacked in 1993 and had previously been described as a "battlefield legend" during the Vietnam War.

On September 11, he phoned Greer to say: "I don't want you to cry. I have to evacuate some people now. If something happens to me, I want you to know that you made my life."
