Nice Show if You Can Get It
- Gershwin's musical comes to town

MY ONE AND ONLY opens February 25 at the Piccadilly theatre. Double Olivier award-winner Janie Dee takes on Gershwin's romantic musical in the role made famous by Twiggy.

Dee's rave reviews as an android in Alan Ayckbourn's Comic Potential have earnt her the chance to star opposite musical connoisseur Tim Flavin. No stranger to 1930s jazz, Flavin was last seen in another Gershwin tribute Crazy for You. He looks set to whirl his partner off her feet in this tale of a daredevil aviator's lovelorn mission to travel the Atlantic ocean.

Songs like S'Wonderful, Funnyface and Strike Up The Band were famously performed by Tommy Tune when My One And Only hit the stage back in 1983. It all starts with a tuneful romantic encounter at a railway station, offering Dee and Flavin the chance to really strike up the band.
