Cutting Edge Drama On Line
- LondonNet sells for fringe theatre transfer

TICKETS can now be bought on line for the fringe transfer of Ophelia. The show which played to full houses at Jackson's Lane last year opens Tuesday at Dalston's Arcola theatre and runs until Feb 27 at Angel's Candid Arts.

Forward thinking LondonNet bucks the trend of theatre-selling websites which are mostly confined to West End shows. Less than a tenner buys a modern reworking of Hamlet complete with original film (click here for film preview) and live music from Adem Ihlan (lead singer with acclaimed acoustic outfit Fridge).

Multimedia Ophelia challenges conventional theatre. Set in a castle ridden with a new dictator's technology, it is a tale of love, betrayal and suicide that recasts Ophelia as a talented photographer stuck away in a tower, giving a voice to the dithersome Hamlet's girlfriend and making sure she doesn't die off stage.
