Our House Stays Open
- Madness apply for West End asylum

OUR HOUSE has added seven months to its West End run at the Cambridge Theatre. The UKP2.5 million Madness musical is taking bookings until September 27 2003.

The drama concerns a young boy who commits a small crime to impress his girlfriend. A two-way plot line follows the youth's two possible fates depending on whether he escapes or confronts the judgment of the law. This filmic structure sets a contemporary spin on the old morality tale formula.

Indeed, the show boasts many attractions. Twenty Madness hits, from One Step Beyond and House of Fun to My Girl and Baggy Trousers, makes it a favourite for fans of the 1980s ska band. Following in the footsteps of several band-acts-cum-musicals, Our House promises to give the long running We Will Rock You a run for its money.
