| Chicago Stars Served Chilled
- Weather fails to cloud movie premiere LONDON'S current cold snap didn't put off Hollywood stars from turning up at the world premiere of the movie version of Chicago last night. "I'm not freezing at all," said Renee Zelweger, who has recently been working in eastern Europe. "This is a beautiful spring day compared with the Transylvanian mountain tops." Fans turned out in big numbers at Leicester Square to see Zellweger and co-stars such as Richard Gere go walkabout. Both revealed they were nervous about their parts before filming, given the musical nature of the film. "I was so nervous because it is the first time I've opened my mouth to sing in front of anyone but my dog," said Zelweger, while Gere said: "I was so shy about it I wouldn't even rehearse in front of my wife." |
