Middle Earth Comes to the West End
- Hobbit ventures out at the Queen's

THE HOBBIT opens at the Queen's theatre November 28. Running until January 19, the Christmas extravaganza replaces Jackie Mason's successful one man show.

Fans of Bilbo Baggins and his dwarfish companions will delight in the little fella's mission to recover lost treasure. As well as thwarting goblins, dragons and no end of trolls, Baggins could beat the RSC's Alice in Wonderland as the most popular kids' show this Christmas.

The Hobbit also coincides with the cinema release of The Fellowship of the Ring this December. Tolkein's magical appeal looks set to last with success in all fields.
