Euan Blair Fights Off Muggers
- 'Suspects ran off empty handed,' say police

EUAN Blair was left "very shaken", according to police, after being mugged last weekend, but was praised for his bravery in fighting off his assailants.

The Prime Minister's son and a friend were confronted by a gang of a dozen youths on the Finchley Road on Saturday night on their way home from Camden.

"The suspects went through the victims' pockets and found a portable CD player, " a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said. "There was some pushing and shoving before the suspects made off empty-handed. Neither victim was injured. There have been no arrests and inquiries continue."

Police said that Euan had fought off the attackers, though it is unclear whether the 17 year-old had bodyguard support in his have-a-go hero efforts.
